The Idea For Miche Handbags

In 2004 Michelle Romero, the co-founder of Miche Bags, was a newly married young dental assistant. One lunchtime she had a little accident with her handbag. She spilled something on the outside of it and found herself wishing that she could just replace the part she had damaged rather than having to buy a whole new handbag.

These thoughts lead to the seed of a new business idea and together with her friend Anna Cavaness she began to develop what would become the Miche handbag prototype.

In 2009 the business is booming and shows every sign of continuing to grow. There are now almost 100 different styles of the outer shells and Miche bags are sold in at least ten countries.
Michelle and Anne are both mothers of young children and the company has a business plan which helps other mothers to make an income from home through selling the bags at parties.
